Egg Fried Rice Recipe


  • 2 cups of cooked jasmine rice
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 medium carrot, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, chopped


  1. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Pour in the beaten eggs and scramble until fully cooked. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
  2. Add another tablespoon of oil into the pan. Add the onion, garlic, carrot, and green bell pepper to the pan. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Stir in the cooked rice, scrambled eggs, and soy sauce. Mix well and cook for another 3 minutes.
  4. Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot.
